Portraits, A Downeast Lobsterfishing Family
I was the creator of this series for WABI TV 5. The show showcased individuals in the State of Maine and posed the question, "How would you like to be remembered?" This clip comes from the program we produced on the Ciomei family of Stonington. It ended up winning a Maine Association of Broadcasters (MAB) Award for Public Affairs. I produced this show, while Dave Gordon was the primary shooter and Matt Hamann was the primary editor. All of us ended up shooting parts of this program.
Made in Maine , Downeast Salmon Federation PLAY
This is this first of 3 clips from the Made in Maine Spring 2007 Season that I produced, shot, scripted and edited. These 5-7 minute segments were produced within a 2 month span, and represented the first time that I worked entirely on my own for production of a Made in Maine piece. The Downeast Salmon Federation is an organization dedicated to the preservation of the Atlantic Salmon. Education is a key to the organization's success. Personally, I am a fly-fisherman, and a supporter of conservation, so this segment is close to my heart.
Made in Maine , TIDES Institute and Museum of Art PLAY
I have always had an affinity for the beauty of the Eastport, Maine and St. Andrews, New Brunswick, Canada region. Being from Washington County, Maine, I have witnessed the ebb and flow of Eastport's economy. The TIDES Institute and Museum of Art marks a generational shift in the region, as well as a creative economy that goes beyond all borders. The weather during this shoot was wet and blustery with winds reaching up to 60 mph. It felt ominous and gloomy, but while talking to artists and organizers there, I couldn't help but become excited for what Eastport's potential future holds.
Made in Maine , Canterbury Royale PLAY
These two women are amazing artists and passionate chefs, who are bringing culture through Course Dining to a remote town in Aroostook County, Maine. They insisted that before I shoot this piece, I would need to experience it myself. Without hesitation, I gave in to their wishes. After 6 courses of fine French cuisine, while surrounded by candles, silver and fine woodworking, I knew that it would be difficult to portray my experience on video. I think that the piece was successful, but you will have to experience the tastes, environment and magic of the real thing for yourself.

Portraits, Governor John Baldacci
For this program we interviewed the first lady Karen Baldacci to act as our narrator, while we captured the Governor, John Baldacci exclusively in the field of work. His brother Paul granted me access to the families photos and Super-8 films, which was a treat to go through.
Made in Maine, Daylily Weaving and Dyeworks PLAY
This was my first producing gig for broadcast television and it was a blast. Nan Sepik is such a colorful and talented person, and Nick Woodward of Maine Public Broadcasting is a thrill to work with. He is so professional and extremely talented and dedicated to his craft. Steve Dunn did a wonderful job of editing this together.
Summerfly, Brittany and Dane's Wedding PLAY
This was a beautiful wedding on the best day of the fall season. Brittany and Dane are a beautiful couple and love was in the air this day. Look closely and you'll see Sarina and Noah in this clip. I want to thank Derek Cole for help on this event production.
Media Works, A Brief History of the Capitol Theater PLAY
If you ever see me at The Grand Theater in Ellsworth, projecting films or at a concert, now you'll know why I am drawn to old theaters that show Foreign and Independent Films. It was at the Capitol Theter in Olympia, Washington that I was first introduced to such a venue and it was when I found The Grand that I knew I would love living in the Ellsworth area. Quinn Costello was a driving force behind this project. Quinn are you out there? Call me.
Summerfly, Andrew and Lori's Wedding PLAY
I wanted to show you this video because it holds a special place in my heart. This is my brother's wedding and I shot it on a Super 8 camera. My Nana was so proud!

if you can dream it, Summerfly can produce it!
