Profile: Sarina Speed

Sarina has been working as a jeweler for the last several years.  She loved artistic endeavors as a child, and majored in painting and sculpture in college. After graduating she began working with small-scale sculpture and soon turned to wearable art and silversmithing.  The pieces she makes are one of a kind, fusing sterling silver, vintage and contemporary beads, semi-precious stone and a variety of other mediums. The pieces are created to be fun and unique.  She draws inspiration for her pieces from nature, art history, architecture and anything that she can dream up.

Sarina now resides in Downeast Maine with her husband Benjamin, son Noah and two cats Jami and Molly.
